Illuminated night in Sydney

Two nights were spent to visit light artworks that were displayed throughout Sydney CBD. Even though the nights were freezing and wet, it was worth visiting the city for Vivid Light Festival. Luna and I attended Vivid on the 1st of June and on the 9th of June, exploring Sydney a bit more for the first time. Those nights were so crowded that it was hard to try and take photos without having other people's silhouettes intervening. Nonetheless, the photos turned out great and it was worth being out there, exploring our city.

Now, you guys shall view some photos that we took on these two colourful nights. We will also add in some photos we took when Luna and I decided to travel to a place near my university of a beautiful peace garden at Chatswood.

And now, onto some photos of Vivid. Luna and I took advantage of trying to long exposure photography, and we are quite satisfied with our first few tries.

I apologise for an excessive amount photos of the Sydney Opera House, but it was one of the main attractions of Vivid along side with the Harbour Bridge.

To view more photos, not by us but by amazing photographers, I suggest to head over to http://www.vividsydney.com/ Vivid is held annually around the end of May to mid-June. This year, it started on the 24th of May and ended on the 10th of June. We're looking forward to next year's displays from amazing light installation artist!

Also, we members of Luminary Photography are now on university break and will be until the end of July, this means we will be trying to blog as frequently as we can of various shoots!

Before we leave, we will be opening up a FaceBook page. So head over to Luminary Photography's Facebook now by clicking on the link and support us! This way, you viewers can see all the photos rather than just a selection as well as keep up to date with us. Our next several shoots are still in the planning process, so please do bear with us the wait as we try and work as fast as we can.

Check out our FB page in the meantime as we deliver these photographs to view!

Bye for now, but not forever!
