Now, you guys shall view some photos that we took on these two colourful nights. We will also add in some photos we took when Luna and I decided to travel to a place near my university of a beautiful peace garden at Chatswood.

Illuminated night in Sydney
Two nights were spent to visit light artworks that were displayed throughout Sydney CBD. Even though the nights were freezing and wet, it was worth visiting the city for Vivid Light Festival. Luna and I attended Vivid on the 1st of June and on the 9th of June, exploring Sydney a bit more for the first time. Those nights were so crowded that it was hard to try and take photos without having other people's silhouettes intervening. Nonetheless, the photos turned out great and it was worth being out there, exploring our city.

It's uni break, why not bake?
The title says that Luna and I were baking. (Ly is currently in her exam periods, wish her luck!) Yes, we baked today and we decided to post this up tonight before we sleep. Hehe.
So, we decided a while ago, perhaps a month ago, to bake during the uni winter holidays. Taking advantage to be creative and innovative! We challenged ourselves to make a rainbow layered cake. I'm sure we all have seen those awesome and successfully made cakes on the internet, books, magazine etc. that's why we chose it.
We started at 1PM and finished making the cake around 7:30PM. It took us 6 hours to make this cake, patiently waiting to bake each layer, cleaning up, deciding what to do next and how we were going to do it. A good way to use your brain during break.
Making this cake was messy and time consuming, nonetheless worth every single moment of our effort and time. Luna and I, as well as our extra helper (thank you, you know who you are when you read this!) were so happy that we successfully did it! Ticking this off our holiday-to-do list!
If you bloggers/readers want to know how to make a rainbow cake, just type into google 'rainbow cake recipe' and all sorts will pop up! Challenge yourself today, be creative and inventive!
Here are the photographs showing our progression throughout this whole day.

We walk great distances to get to where we are in life
Hello folks!
Sorry for being absent for almost three weeks! We did mention we had a shoot on the 6th of May and we've edited the photographs. However time has been constraint for me (Marie) due to uni work -- it's hard to juggle everything and trying to get this post up ASAP. *sad face*
Anyway, during these three weeks, we've been planning projects and experimenting with Adobe Photoshop. We were also preparing for the recent shoot we just did too. Quite hectic going to places, trying to plan before the actual date. Also bought a new lens! Now our cameras are twins!
Enough of that, let's move on to the day and some sweet and innocent photographs of our dear friend, Alexandra. Alexandra is another friend of ours from school, and it was really fun working with her. The theme of the shoot was Life and Strength, personally chosen by Alex herself. We also had Alex pick the location and she chose Royal National Park, Watamolla. A really nice and relaxing location South Coast of Sydney. Although it took us more than an hour to get there (due to wrong turns) it was all worth the travel.
It took us less than 2 hours to make these props that we later gave to Alex to keep.

The water at the beach was so blue. Could not resist to take pictures of it. If you guys ever come to Watamolla, you'll love it here!
Also, throughout those three weeks, we had to help Alex to pick out outfits for the shoot. So it resulted in a white dress and a red one also. Luckily, it took less than 2 hours to pick out dresses.
Now moving on, finally~~

Working on our name
Marie and I finally came down to a
name to call ourselves, Night sky’s glow. It is derived from our names, Luna and Marie meaning moon and stars of the sea, respectively. Moon and stars both appears
and glows at night. With this concept, we gathered many ideas such as
moonlight, night light, illuminate,
luminaire and other wild and incompatible names. After all the complications
and day dream, it finally took us over 4 hours to come up with this name! However, after asking an opinion a third perspective, we realised the name was a bit childish and fitted more as a blog title, so we'll be further working on our name and hopefully soon enough reveal it.
As Marie mentioned, I stayed in Taiwan
for 3 days along with 4 and a half weeks in Vietnam. It was a great experience trying
to understand one’s culture and reuniting with distant families. I took photos
and videos wherever possible. Here are some below.
